For months I searched and mapped Photobooths around Porto and nearby cities, inspired by the book Photobooth: A Biography written and illustrated by Meags Fitzgerald.

I found them hidden in supermarkets, train stations, shopping malls and cinemas. Unfortunately, some of them have already disappeared, being replaced by new instant machines that print photos from social media.

This project is an attempt to preserve the social and historical importance of Photobooths in Portugal.
